Allison Holker is celebrating her and Stephen "tWitch" Boss' son on a bittersweet birthday.
The So You Think You Can Dance star posted a poignant Instagram tribute to Maddox Laurel Boss on March 27, sharing a glimpse inside the family's small birthday celebration at home Weslie Fowler, 14, and Zaia Boss, 3.
"Happy 7th birthday my sweet sweet Maddox!" she captioned a post for the milestone, which comes three months after Stephen's death. "Oh I love you so much and couldn't be more proud or grateful to be your mommy. I'm so proud of you!"
Allison called her son "brave, strong, endearing, loving, and full of joy," adding, "You have this beautiful passion for life that brings light into every room you walk (run, jump, fly) into."
The Dancing With the Stars pro continued, "We had an incredible talk the other night and we talked about how powerful you are and that we share a forever bond… your the sun and I'm your moon.. pulling for each other forever and ever! I love you and you deserve this perfect day celebrating you!"
Allison's post drew messages of support from fans and friends, including celebs such as Vanessa Bryant, who lost her husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna "Gigi" Bryant, 13, in a helicopter crash in 2020.
"Happy birthday Maddox," the mother of four wrote. "Sending you a big hug @allisonholker."
Allison has occasionally shared updates and tributes to her kids on Instagram since Stephen died from suicide in December 2022. The Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ and co-executive producer was 40. His family and friends honored him at a celebration of life event in February, days after Allison privately marked her 35th birthday.
The following month, Allison shared a public promise to her and her late husband's children on Instagram.
"I will be here for you every step of the way through the highs and lows, the ups and the downs," she wrote. "I will protect and I will guide, I will be a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, I will have mom jokes ready for when you need a good laugh."
She continued, "My loves we are stronger than you could ever imagine. And we will stand strong together as a unit, and find the courage to hold each other up," she wrote. "The love and light inside our hearts will still shine. I love you forever and always. Mommy"
