JoJo Siwa Is a Literal Furball in Jaw-Dropping New York Fashion Week Look

It’s a bird, it’s a pom pom—no, it’s JoJo Siwa.
The Dance Moms alum made a splash at Christian Cowan’s New York Fashion Week show when she arrived in, well, a furry sphere.
Indeed, JoJo’s ensemble for the Sept. 8 runway show featured a ball covered in black fur. While her arms were enclosed within the orb, the 21-year-old’s legs were exposed—allowing the knee-high, furry green boots she donned to do some talking of their own.
And we mean that almost literally: the neon boots each featured a creature-like face, complete with eyes and a fanged-grin. JoJo topped off her look with bold green eye shadow and her hair in a high ponytail.
So what exactly inspired the, shall we say, full circle look? As JoJo exclusively told E! News. “A Furby, for sure! Honestly, no, the black puffle from Club Penguin.”
The eye-catching look is only one of the many colorful, bold looks JoJo has favored over the years. In fact, she isn’t ready to let go of any of her iconic looks.
“Everything that I’ve ever worn publicly like for a music video, for a performance, we have in an archive,” the “Karma” singer told E!. “So I have it all saved, from the time I was nine—everything I wore on TV. It’s way too many things, we got to clean it out one day.”
She continued, “But it’s so sentimental. We can’t.”
And as she takes over NYFW, there’s one person in particular she’d love to be sat next to at a fashion show: Miley Cyrus.
“She’d be so fun to chit chat with,” JoJo explained. “I’d do anything with Miley. She invited me to watch one of her rehearsals back in the day, it was the best day of my life.”
And while her furrified-look is only one in a recent series of more bolder ensembles JoJo has worn recently, she is paying no mind to the noise surrounding her transition.
"People are afraid of things they don't know," she previously told E!. "Things can be scary for people. New things can be very, very scary."
Instead, she’s focusing on the opportunities she’s been given. "Creating art is such a special, special thing," she continued, "and I'm very lucky that I get to be one of the people in the world that gets to create art."
