"Laguna Beach" alum Stephen Colletti and NASCAR reporter Alex Weaver are taking their relationship to the next level.
Colletti and Weaver revealed in a sweet Instagram post on Wednesday that they are now engaged.
The pair embraced each other for a romantic kiss while seated on a ledge in Rome, Italy, with Vatican City off in the distance of the picturesque shot.
In another photo, the NASCAR journalist showed off an elegant oval diamond ring with her newly minted fiancé in the background.
"Yes! Forever," the couple captioned their joint post.
The "One Tree Hill" star and Weaver have been enjoying a vacation in the Eternal City, with trips to visit The Colosseum and indulging in pasta and gelato, according to the reporter's Instagram Story.
The couple went Instagram official in August 2022. Colletti shared a photo of the two on a boat at sunset captioned, "Magic hours are a bit more magical this year."
"luckiest girl," Weaver commented.
Colletti famously dated Kristin Cavallari on MTV's "Laguna Beach" from 2004 to 2006. Much of their storyline detailed an alleged love triangle with fellow co-star Lauren Conrad.
The actor and Cavallari reunited for a rewatch podcast titled "Back to the Beach," from July 2022 to June this year.
Speaking of the love-triangle storyline, Cavallari said in an earlier episode that she and Conrad should have focused their energy more on Colletti than each other.
"I will say the fact that Lauren and I really went after each other is so messed up when — I love you — but the person we should have been going after was you," she told her ex-boyfriend. "And this is so classic, right? If someone gets cheated on you, go after the other woman, the other woman. It's like, 'Why are we not blaming the guy?'"

Colletti later dispelled that he had cheated on Cavallari with Conrad, saying, "Obviously stuff happened at certain times, but at no point ever whenever we were together would I step out on you in that way. That made my blood boil a little bit."
Cavallari went on to marry Jay Cutler in 2013, with whom she welcomed three children: sons Camden, 10, and Jaxon, 8, and daughter Saylor, 7. The couple split in 2020 and their divorce was finalized in June 2022.
