Now this is a situation to fist pump about.
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his wife Lauren Sorrentino announced they are expecting their third baby together, sharing the news alongside a festive family photoshoot.
"Good things come in threes," the couple captioned a joint Instagram post Sept. 26. "Adding another pumpkin to our patch. Baby #3 coming March 2024."
The sweet carousel of pictures features Mike, Lauren and their kids, Romeo, 2, and Mia, 9 months, posing while Lauren holds a sonogram. Another snap showed the family of four sitting on their front step, dressed in fall colors and surrounded by pumpkin decor.
Rounding out the photos is an adorable mother-daughter shot that features Lauren and Mia in the kitchen smiling for the camera. And Lauren is fully aware that things are about to get that much busier as she commented, "Three under three. Here we go."
And Mike's MTV family couldn't help but express their excitement in the comments section, with his GTL partner Pauly D writing, "Hat trick!!!"
"Anotha one," said Vinny Guadagnino, while Snooki chimed in with, "Welcome to tbe 3 club!!!!"
But it's no surprise that the pair, who tied the knot in 2018, are adding another bundle of joy to the Jersey brood, as Mike has previously shared his wish to have a big family.
"I always wanted to have about three children but after having my first, I was definitely a little worried," he told E! News not long after announcing he and Lauren were expecting baby no. 2. "Are me and my wife going to be able to handle that? But once my wife was pregnant, we were so excited. We're so excited that the babies are going to be close in age."
But while Mike will always be "The Situation" to fans, his favorite nickname these days seems to be "Dad."
"I love being a dad. I love being a new parent, but also I'm going to still be my authentic self on camera and that's what you see right now," he shared with E! News in January just ahead of Mia's arrival. "Right now, I'm in my 8th year of sobriety. I'm a new dad. I'm expecting a baby girl any minute right now. I'm super excited for that."
He added, "I think I stay true to who I am, I try to keep the peace as much as I can most of the time."
